Privacy Policy

Review notice: This policy describes AMA's intended operating model but must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer or data-protection professional before it is relied upon as a legal document.

1. Who we are

Albanian Model Agency is a discovery, learning, talent-network and connection platform for Albanian talent in Albania, Kosovo and the diaspora. Privacy enquiries and rights requests can currently be sent by direct message to @albanianmodelagency.

2. Scope and age

This policy covers this website, AMA Instagram interactions and external application forms. Talent applications are for adults aged 18 or older. AMA does not currently operate an application process for minors.

3. Data we may collect

• Application and contact data: name, age, contact details, location, messages and social profile.
• Talent-network data voluntarily provided by accepted talent: height, languages, modelling categories, experience, portfolio, photos, showreel or video, availability, professional information and consent preferences.
• Public-profile data selected for publication under a separate permission or release.
• Opportunity-sharing records, including interests, communications, introductions and the permissions attached to them.
• Email preferences for educational/opportunity updates and, separately, commercial or promotional communications.
• Technical data such as IP address, browser, device, language, referral and site interactions where collected.

4. How we may use data

• Review applications and contact selected applicants or those requiring follow-up.
• Maintain a private talent network where the person has agreed to that purpose.
• Identify potential matches for legitimate briefs and notify relevant talent.
• Share specified information with a client only for the stated purpose and under the applicable permission.
• Publish selected talent on approved channels only under appropriate public-feature consent.
• Send optional educational and opportunity emails to people who actively opt in.
• Send commercial or promotional emails only under a separate applicable permission.
• Operate, secure, understand and improve the website and prevent abuse.

5. Separate permissions

Application processing, private-network retention, public featuring, opportunity notices, contact-detail sharing, educational emails and commercial marketing are separate purposes. Agreeing to one does not automatically mean agreeing to another. See our Talent Consent information.

6. Legal bases

Depending on the activity and applicable law, AMA may rely on consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests or legal obligations. The exact lawful bases, controller details and local requirements require professional review before launch.

7. Public features

Submitting an application does not give AMA unrestricted public rights. Selected material may appear on the website, Instagram, other social channels, editorial content, promotional content or AMA marketing materials only under the relevant permission or release.

8. Sharing and third parties

AMA does not sell personal data. Data may be handled by service providers supporting hosting, security, forms, communications and analytics, and may be shared with a client or creative professional for a stated opportunity when permitted. Recipients must independently protect data under the obligations that apply to them.

9. Tally, email providers and Meta

Applications are currently collected through Tally, which processes submitted information under its own terms and privacy policy. If an email marketing provider is added, this policy and the signup notice should identify it before use. Instagram interactions and links are processed by Meta under Meta's policies. AMA does not control those platforms' independent processing.

10. Cookies and analytics

The website currently uses local storage for language and consent preferences. Optional analytics or social embeds are not currently active through the consent controls. If introduced, they should remain disabled until the required choice is made. See the Cookie Policy.

11. Retention

Application data should be retained only for a documented review period. Private-network data should be retained while participation and its purpose remain valid, then reviewed or deleted. Communication, consent and withdrawal records may be retained where needed to demonstrate choices or meet legal obligations. Exact schedules must be documented before launch.

12. Your rights and choices

• Request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where applicable.
• Object to certain processing.
• Withdraw consent for future processing without affecting earlier lawful use.
• Unsubscribe from optional emails at any time.
• Complain to the competent data-protection authority.

13. International transfers

Some providers or recipients may process data outside the person's country or the EEA. AMA should assess the transfer and use an appropriate legal mechanism where required, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. This requires professional confirmation.

14. Security and changes

AMA uses reasonable organisational and technical measures, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Material changes will be reflected in this policy and its last-updated date.
